Toasted seeded bloomer loaded with crunchy peanut butter, smashed banana, cacao-maca powder, date syrup, and cacao nibs.

PB & Banana on Toast

A quick, energising breakfast or snack. The cacao-maca powder adds a subtle earthy depth, and the date syrup keeps things naturally sweet.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices seeded bloomer
  • 4 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 tsp cacao-maca powder
  • 2 tbsp date syrup
  • 2 tbsp cacao nibs

Method

1. Toast

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden and crisp.

2. Top

  1. Spread peanut butter generously over each slice.
  2. Peel the bananas2 ripe bananas, place on the toast, and smash roughly with a fork.
  3. Sprinkle with cacao-maca powder1 tsp cacao-maca powder and scatter over the cacao nibs2 tbsp cacao nibs.
  4. Drizzle with date syrup2 tbsp date syrup and serve immediately.
